Why Mohbad’s autopsy report is delayed – CP

The toxicology report is causing a delay in the autopsy report for the late Nigerian musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, according to Lagos State Commissioner of Police Fayoade Adegoke.

On Wednesday, he made this revelation at the state command headquarters in the state’s Ikeja Local Government Area.

Adegoke stated that the command was expecting word from the foreign experts.

“The toxicology report is not yet complete, which is holding up the autopsy results in the Mohbad case. The US has to provide us with the report.

As you may remember, the Lagos State Government’s laboratory was demolished during the End of SARS. For that reason, he said, we had to travel to the US to undertake toxicology.

The autopsy report of the late singer, which was completed two months ago, was allegedly not sent to the Lagos State Police Command last year.

Mohbad’s death on September 12 sparked a flurry of conversations and debates in Nigeria and beyond.

The authorities and the investigating team then set out to find out what exactly happened before the singer passed away.

At the age of 24, Mohbad, a budding talent in the Nigerian music industry, passed away.

The day after his death, Mohbad was buried in the Lagos State neighborhood of Ikorodu. His sudden early burial, which broke with tradition, confused both his followers and Nigerians.

Nigerians were calling for a thorough probe into the circumstances surrounding his death after his death.

The Nigerian police force dug up his remains from the Ikorodu burial and performed a full autopsy before starting an official inquiry into the tragedy.

Mohbad and his boyhood buddy Owodunni Ibrahim, popularly known as PrimeBoy, were involved in an event that the police verified. Due to the injuries he received during the altercation, Mohbad passed away.

Auxiliary nurse Ms. Feyisayo Ogedengbe was also cited as the main suspect in Mohbad’s killing by Idowu Owohunwa, the Lagos Police Commissioner at the time.

According to the CP, Ogedengbe gave the singer three injections at his home after being invited by Mohbad’s buddy Ayobami Sodiq, also known as Spending. It is said that these injections set off a series of events that ultimately resulted in the singer’s death.

According to the commissioner, Ogedengbe worked in a non-clinical setting and was unfit to fill the position of house nurse.
